Dress - Primark
Last Monday I received a surprise package - the excitement of surprise parcels being delivered, right? I opened it up too find Converse's new Chuck II's, in the beautiful all white. Literally, I almost cried, they're so pretty. I know that there has been a bit of hate on the new design, and I have to admit that when I was scrolling through pictures of them when they first came out, I wasn't too keen. Got way too attached to the original look. But now I have seen these up close in person, I actually love them. And can I just say, they are ridiculously comfy. I'm not gonna lie, I've never thought that the original Chuck's are the comfiest of shoes, but I've heard that the Chuck II's use the Lunarlon technology that Nike use in some of their trainers - that's pretty cool.
I love how white shoes look with an all black outfit, so that's what happened here. I found this high neck jumper dress in Primark for like 8 quid, I can see me wearing it all through Autumn. Can I just say that Primark's jumper selection is on point at the moment. Both the Primark's near me are pretty rubbish and never have any good stuff in, but the one in Portsmouth is actually really good - I regret not buying more jumpers! I couldn't not get myself a faux fur gilet as well - I'm building up quite the faux fur collection (if I do say so myself), and I definitely need to get my hands on more faux fur gilets in different colours. I really want a white one. but knowing me it ain't gonna stay white.

Gosh, you've styled the converse so well, Alice. I'm all for wearing dresses with converse for a casual, sort of glam (hello faux fur outerwear) look.

I'm actually loving the new design of the Chuck II's, and it's always a bonus if they're comfier! The white shoes, black outfit look is a favourite of mine and the jumper/gilet combo looks great!

I like the idea of the new Converses but the price has put me right off! They were expensive enough as they were, let alone adding an extra £10-15 to the cost! They look fab with this outfit though. Primark does have some fab bits in right now!

I love Converse and I always found them very comfortable! The new ones I actually haven't heard of yet! To me they don't look that different design-wise. Maybe I need to give them a go as they are actually supposed to be even more comfy! :)
