Choker - Missguided
I decided to go a little bit 'work appropriate' for this look, whereas part 1 I deffo went all out casj. Alright you got me, I didn't wear this exact look to the office. I got rid of the choker and swapped the white Nike's out for a black pair, but got myself a pretty banging ootd for a day at work. Obvs I liked it enough to wear it on a normal day out as well.
That's the thing with work clothes. I dunno about you, but I always try and buy clothes for work that I would also like to wear outside of work. Buying clothes for 'just work' seems like the biggest waste of money, and I actually hate it, so I don't do it. I like having a versatile wardrobe - summer clothes that can be transitioned into winter (I'm definitely not one of those people who has a summer and winter wardrobe, my clothes stay out throughout the year!), clothes I bought for nights out that can be worn in the day and work clothes that can be worn on casj days. I feel like you get the most out of your clothes and the money you've spent on them that way.
Thoughts? Do you have separate clothes for separate occasions or do you mix and match like me?
i've never heard of the term "cigrarette trousers" that's such an interesting way to describe them!! they're sooooo cute, i just got myself a pair of pink-ish ones, too!!! also i completely agree with the whole buying clothes for every occasion. ya gotta make the most out of every item!!
