The day that we all dread has finally arrived... my laptop's broken *17 crying emoji's*. The screen is just black, so I was like, this isn't so bad, can just HDMI it to my tv and use that as a screen - of course with my luck, it did not work. I was debating buying a new laptop anyway, because my current one has wifi issues, but I don't exactly have the mons to be spending on nice shiny new laptops. If I did, I would have to dip into my savings, and I was kinda saving that for travelling and other important life events. But then I'm like, what's the point of having money if I'm not gonna spend it? Then again, that's always the excuse I use when I'm trying to justify my spending... Help, I don't know what to do!

ReplyDeleteOh no! I've been meaning to invest in a new laptop/camera, too, but my savings are all stowed away for university. BUT I NEED A NEW ONE. It's horrible, innit?! Ugh. I think you should definitely get a new laptop if it's your only source for work, but other than that, I think it's entirely your choice.

ReplyDeleteI do, my username is alilouxo - I actually use Vinted a lot more, it's a lot like depop but I think it's a little better. I have a lot more clothes on there as well, and I think I've prices them a bit lower then the ones I have on depop, so you should check it out :) my username for Vinted is alilouxo :)

Such an amazing outfit! I understand the struggle to getting a new laptop I myself was in the same situations. It is better to buy a laptop on sales day. If you own any student NUS card you can have a pretty decent discount for a laptop. Or you can request for a Christmas present but if you need urgently then I'll say get the laptop and you can always save up again to do what you want hope this helps.

Oh noo!! That's freaking annoying, I feel for you... I used to use my family computer for blogging and it became such a pain to post anything that I just had to buy a new laptop. Shame they're so expensive but it would save you lots of frustration if you got a new one. Hope it gets sorted soon xx
